The picture and description do not show the lights full character. I has waves of color when illuminated and gold flakes when not illuminated. I assumed it was sold cobalt blue, but like the added details.

Nice glass, heavy, with a beautiful blue base color and highlight flecks. Very nice in appearance, works well in contemporary designs as well as with dark wood traditional decor.

Very nice pendant light. The color is great. It has more white in it than I thought it would based on the picture but it works. Also the blue has little silver specs on it that dont show in the picture. I wasnt sure I'd like it at first but have to say I really love it.

Even though others have said this light does not look like the picture- I was surprised to see just how VERY different it did look. There is abundant gold glitter (not a few specks) throughout the shade. If gold glitter matches your decor, you will like this light....unfortunately it did not match mine, and I had to send it back. The quality is fine, just make sure you want a blue light with a lot of gold glitter.
