| Introduced in 2010 — Hubbardton Forge’s Ondrian floor and table lamps embrace transitional modern design with simple and elegant geometrical lines. Central to each lamp is a strong vertical bar of heavy forged steel. This focal point is heated in the forge and hand-hammered to create subtle, distressed, one-of-a-kind details, reflecting the individual work of its Vermont craftsperson. A unique base of very heavy steel, heated and bent into a perfect yet incomplete circle, asymmetrically supports the hand-hammered vertical. A hanging dimmer switch subtly integrates itself into the linear composition of the lamp and allows for perfectly tuned light. A modern, slim-profile drum shade offsets the base and is offered in several choices of micro suede fabric. Winner of the 2010 Pinnacle Green Award presented by the American Society of Furniture Designers. Conceived and handcrafted by skilled designers and craftsmen in Vermont, U.S.A.
